To everyone at Meridian High School, Michael Vey is an ordinary kid. The only thing that makes him stand out is his Tourette's Syndrome. But Michael has special electric powers. 
And that's why he is being hunted by the Elgen along with other kids his age  who mysteriously have electric powers.  The Elgen, of course want to use the children's powers  in their plans for world domination.  But what if the children can combine their powers to defeat the evil organization?
