Turning Away’s tracks feature bending guitar chords and emotional angst with a unique and free presentation. This 2024 Indie band is deeply influenced by Masayoshi Takanka, Casiopea, Pink Floyd, and King Krimson, but their indie vocals reflect Good Kid and Joy Again. Performing since 2022 in Las Vegas, RIYAH  blends emo rock with metalcore and nu metal, but there’s a softer side too. Lyricism is the foundation and common thread in all their works.  Inspiration draws deeply from RIYAH’s personal strife (life) in a raw and relatable way.

Tessa Grace is a singer, songwriter, and guitarist based in Northern Utah. She is inspired by alternative artists like Phoebe Bridgers, Adrienne Lenker, and Mitski. She started off with the band Amaryllis, an all-girl alt rock group focused on feminist ideas and grassroots fundraising, and is now pursuing her own solo project.
